MoE Acting Minister held a consultative meeting with the religious scholars of Balkh province
Alhaj Maulawi Habibullah Agha, MoE Acting Minister held a cosutative meeting with the religious scholars of that province to discuss the improvement of the situation, solving the problems and challenges of Madares and religious institutions of that province.
In this meeting, Alhaj Maulawi Abdul Jalil Shahid Khail, education director of Balkh province, Sheikh Mohammad Saeed Hashimi, Head of Ulama Council of that province were also present.
The Balkh education director welcomed everyone and provided information about the progress in education, especially Islamic education.
According to Balkh education director, in the last one year, a total of 1,617 applicants took the competitive teacher exam, and as a result, those who qualified were hired and appointed as teachers.
Then MoE Acting Minister expressed his satisfaction at the meeting with the religious scholars and added: "Maderes and religious knowledge are blessed by religious scholars and it was because of your efforts that the Islamic system implement in the country and now Afghanistan is the only country where people live under the rule of an Islamic system."
Subsequently, on behalf of the institutions of Islamic education in Balkh province, Sheikh Abdul Qahir spoke and pointed out the attention of the IEA leadership and MoE to Islamic education and appreciated the allocation of 100 thousand vacant for Madares in the country.
At the end of the meeting, Madares officials shared their constructive suggestions and problems with the MoE leadership which was promised to be solved by the Acting Minister of Education.
