Ms. Kanako Tanaka and Ms. Rika Umagari, the first and second secretaries of the Japanese Embassy in Kabul, accompanied by Qari Abdul Basit Haqqani, the head of education in Kabul, visited Al-Fath High School in the ninth district of Kabul.
During a meeting with the education department leadership and school officials, the head of education in Kabul welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for Japan’s contributions to the reconstruction of Afghanistan, particularly in the education sector. He requested that Japan provide further assistance to the Ministry of Education in constructing new school buildings to create a safer educational environment.
Following this, the Japanese delegation acknowledged their country’s support in various sectors, especially agriculture, health, and education, and promised to raise the educational challenges with their leadership to allocate a specific budget for this purpose.
