The Acting Minister of Education Meets with the Governor of Nimroz province
Alhaj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, the Acting Minister of Education, who is currently on an official visit to the southern provinces of the country, met with Sheikh Mohammad Qasem Khalid, the Governor of Nimroz, on the sidelines of this visit. They discussed educational and developmental issues, particularly the educational situation in Nimroz province.
During the meeting, the Governor of Nimroz welcomed the Acting Minister of Education and provided detailed information about the educational status of the province. He shared the challenges faced by schools and religious institutions in the province and requested the Ministry of Education’s leadership to establish schools and religious institutions in the remote areas of Nimroz as well.
The Acting Minister of Education, in response, explained that the purpose of his visit to Nimroz was to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the educational situation in the province. He assured the provincial leadership that the existing issues of schools and religious institutions would be addressed promptly.
Furthermore, the Acting Minister emphasized that plans are in practice for the construction of new school buildings in the center and all districts of Nimroz in the coming year. This plan also includes the construction of religious schools in the remote areas.
