The foundation stone of a religious Madrasa was laid in Balkh

The foundation stone of a religious Madrasa was laid in “Gorimar” village of Nahr-e-shahi district of Balkh province by Alhaj Maulawi Habibullah Agha, the MoE Acting minister.
In the dedication ceremony, the MoE Acting minister, Maulawi Abdul Jalil Shahid Khail, the Balkh education director, the governor of Nahr-e-shahi district, religious scholars and influential people, teachers and students of the school were participated.
This Madrasa will be built at a cost of 150,000$ on 1.5 acres In two sections, Darul Uloom and Darul Hefaz, which 120 female students, 130 students will be dormitory and 260 students without a dormitory.
The land of the school was donated by residents and the cost of its construction is also paid by them.
In the dedication, the education director of Balkh province welcomed the presence of the MoE Acting Minister and his accompanying delegation to that province.
Then Alhaj Maulawi Habibullah Agha, the Mo Acting Minister while appreciating the assistance of the Nahr-e-shahi people for building a Madras in that district, said: "Unfortunately, in the previous regimes, no work was done in the field of Islamic education, Madares were destroyed and even religious scholars were not respected, but now, Alhamdulillah, Islamic education has become the center of IEA’s attention and with the passing of each Day by day, serious efforts have been made to build and establish Madares, Darul Uloom and Darul Hefaz in every corner of the country and the leadership of MoE in this field has praised and welcomed supporting the programs,”
In this ceremony, several religious scholars and tribal elders talking about the valuable role of Islamic education in the society and expressed their support for MoE plans.
The ceremony ended with the laying of the foundation stone of the Madras by MoE Acting Minister of and his companions.
