Commendation of Top Kankor Students of 1404 by the Acting Minister of Education

A ceremony to honor and commend 10 outstanding students and top performers in the 1404 (solar year) Kankor exam was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Education. The event was attended by His Excellency alhaj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, Acting Minister of Education, esteemed deputies, the honorable Director General of the Minister’s Office, a number of central directors of the Ministry, and the families of the mentioned students.
The ceremony began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Abdul Basit Haqqani, Head of Kabul City Education Department.
Following the recitation, His Excellency Al-Haj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, Acting Minister of Education, delivered a speech in which he congratulated and encouraged this year’s top Kankor students. He addressed them, saying:
“You are the architects of the country’s future, and the entire nation awaits your sincere service to lead the country toward progress, development, and self-sufficiency. Therefore, it is imperative that you strive diligently in acquiring knowledge and commit yourselves sincerely and devotedly to serving your homeland and people.”
He further emphasized:
“The Ministry of Education is committed to providing greater educational facilities for the students of schools and madrassas across the country and will make increased and comprehensive efforts in this regard.”
Subsequently, two top scorers from the Islamic Studies and Modern Sciences categories of the Kankor exam Ahmad Faisal and Sayed Musa delivered speeches. They expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Education and other relevant departments for honoring them, and attributed their success in the Kankor exam to their hard work, perseverance, and the continuous support of their families and teachers.
Afterward, certificates of commendation and gifts prepared by the Ministry for the 10 distinguished students were distributed by the Ministry’s leadership.
Finally, the ceremony concluded with a prayer for prosperity and success led by His Excellency Alhaj Mawlawi Sakhaullah sayed, Deputy Minister for Education and Training.
