Alhaj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, the acting head of the Ministry of Education, laid the foundation stone for a high school in the Sagi area of the center of Kunar province, in the presence of the Ministers of Public Health, Telecommunications, the governor of Kunar, religious scholars, other local officials, and representatives of the people of the province. According to education officials, the estimated cost for constructing the school is 18 million Afghanis, which will be funded by an organization collaborating with the Ministry of Education. During the foundation stone laying ceremony, the acting Minister of Education said that one of the ministry's key programs is to provide educational facilities to the children of the nation in remote and underserved areas of the country. It is worth mentioning that the high school will be built on two floors and will include 14 classrooms, in addition to necessary facilities. The construction of this school will provide educational opportunities for 400 children.
