Inauguration of construction projects by the Acting Minister of Education in Jawzjan Province, valued at nearly 75 million Afghanis

Alhaj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, the Acting Minister of Education, along with his accompanying delegation—currently engaged in assessing the educational situation in several northern provinces—has now arrived in Jawzjan province.

At the beginning of his visit, the Acting Minister met with the head and officials of the provincial Department of Education, where he presented the objectives of his visit to the northern provinces. Subsequently, accompanied by officials from the Department of Education, a number of esteemed scholars, and education personnel, he inaugurated and put into operation several upcoming projects in various parts of Sheberghan, the provincial center.

1. Inauguration of Six Classrooms at IslamJoy High School in Sheberghan city, the provincial capital. The construction, fully equipped and furnished, has recently been completed at a cost of $83,045.

2. Re-inauguration of Chihl Middle School in Sheberghan city after a major reconstruction project, which incurred a total cost of $920,122.

3. Construction of a Six-Classroom Primary School Building for Besh Arigh Olmiya, including two administrative rooms with all necessary facilities. Built on a 1.5 acres plot of land in the Aqcha district of the province, the total cost was $50,953.

4. Construction of a Boundary Wall around Ghojari Khana School in Sheberghan city, enclosing one jerib of land, at a cost of $10,854.

5. Construction of Six Sanitary Units at Ahmad Shah Abdali Primary School in Sheberghan center, at a cost of $5,448.

It is worth noting that the total cost of these projects amounts to $1,070,428, which is equivalent to 74,929,966 Afghanis.

In conclusion, the Acting Minister of Education, emphasizing the balanced development of educational services for the children of the nation across the country, congratulated the residents of Jawzjan on the completion of these construction projects. He concluded his visit with prayers for the prosperity of the Afghan people and the strengthening of the country’s educational system.
