Donation of land for building a madrassa in Balkh

A well-wisher lady, in Dehdadi district of Balkh province, donated 400 square meters of her personal land, worth 250 thousand AFGs for the construction of Madrassa building (Noor al-Madares) in "Khasa Paz" village of this district.
The ownership document of this land was offered to the Directorate of Education during a ceremony with the participation of education officials, scholars and tribal elders.
According to sheriff of this village, this lady supposed to sell her land at 250,000 AFGs and leave for the Haj, but due to her old age, physical disability she can’t. So she donated her land for construction a madrassa building.
The officials of the Balkh education directorate described this action as durable charity and expressed their gratitude for generosity of this lady.
