Opening of a School at a Cost of Nearly 18 Million Afghanis by the Minister of Education in Kunar Province
Honorable Alhaj Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, the Minister of Education of the country, during his visit to Kunar Province, inaugurated a primary school in the Barsagi area of Asadabad City, the provincial capital of Kunar.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Honorable Minister of Education, the Director of Education of Kunar Province, the Head of the Provincial Council of Scholars, officials of the Islamic Emirate, and local elders.
In his speech, the Honorable Minister of Education emphasized the importance of education and training, stating that standard educational centers form the foundation of a society’s progress.
Meanwhile, Honorable Mawlawi Mohibullah Haidari, the Director of Education of Kunar Province, said that the department is striving to establish more educational centers, especially in remote areas.
The school, which was constructed at a cost of nearly 18 million Afghanis with financial support from one of the partner organizations of the Ministry of Education, includes 12 classrooms, 4 administrative rooms, and other necessary facilities. With its establishment, a suitable learning environment has now been provided for approximately 1,750 students.
